Montel was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He was introduced to the art of film at the age of 12. From that age on, he had a deep appreciation for filmmaking and entertainment. Acting came about during his His high school years after being casted in shorts and school skits. Not only did Montel want to create characters and get them to the screen, but he also wanted to play a role in bringing them to life through his voice and movement techniques. Its been well over a decade and a half and Montel is still striving to not only create meaningful art ,but to also impact lives, bring awareness to real life issues and promote positivity in the world.
